Keynote Address and Award: International Women’s Day

It was an overflowing traditional community crowd and addressing issues of honour killing, female infanticide, domestic violence were difficult and imperative. The journey has just begun. There is not a society, or a single field, or a single culture that is immune to patriarchy. International Women’s Day comes with but one promise- may the reasons to break sexist habits be greater than the reasons to perpetuate it.
