My stories are real and imagined, written and oral and have come from family, history, life, and travel. Since I was a child, I lived in a world of stories, some of which were real and others have been woven into the tapestry of my plots. We all have travelled on long roads. There is an ancient proverb, ‘Place yourself, not in comparison with others, but in comparison with yourself, and see how far you have travelled. I encourage you to document your own family’s narratives to commemorate the roads that have travelled upon.
